In Vilnius, on the first day of spring, the only burger joint of its kind opens its doors restaurant in Lithuania, offering to try potato buns and beef patties from the highest quality Wagyu and Angus meat grown on our country's farm.

The idea of ​​creating a real, from JAV raised by the south Smash (lit. crushed) hamburger was created by Jonas Petraičius Petrauskas more than a year ago. Developing the family business, the young man began to delve into the intricacies of making these burgers and, wanting to learn as many secrets as possible, embarked on gastronomic tours of the United Kingdom and the United States.

"I've always really liked hamburgers. Owning my own burger joint was a longtime dream of mine, but I didn't want to be like everyone else. That's when the almost year-long tastings and taste searches began," of hamburgers restaurant John shares the origin story.

After tasting countless hamburgers with two of his business partners from the United States last summer, he brought back a potato bun that was unlike anything he had tasted before.

"That's when we realized: we will create a new burger flavor tradition in Lithuania and we will present a burger cooked according to the true American traditions Smash a hamburger with a bun made from potato flour," Jonas says confidently.

However, the potato bun is not the only novelty that the founders of the restaurant "Ponas Mėsainis" promise to visitors. They are offered Smash type hamburger will be made from high-class Wagyu and Angus cattle meat grown on a free-range cattle farm in Lithuania.

"If the bun is an important tool with which we taste the burger, then the meat inside is definitely the main dancer. And it, like our name, will be Lithuanian," jokes Jonas, continuing the story about the idea of ​​naming the new place after "Mr. Mėsainios".

According to him, in this in a restaurant the best of what we have will come together - American hamburger cooking traditions and Lithuanian products grown on our farms and all hamburger toppings are made locally.
