Division A
Rytas-MRU's first defeat
On Friday, the basketball players of Vilnius "Rytas-MRU" (4/1) suffered their first defeat after winning four consecutive victories.
The people of Vilnius are away 70:80 (11:12, 15:17, 16:27, 28:24) lost to the Kėdainiai Sports Center team (2/2).

In the first half of the match, there was an unsuccessful but persistent fight. After two quarters, Kėdainiai club coached by Gediminas Butkaus gained a fragile 3-point advantage (29:26).

The powerful performance of Tito Pundins did not save the people of Vilnius from failure. The 18-year-old scored 23 points, intercepted 6 balls and collected 28 utility points. Gabrielius Jokubauskas scored 14 points.
Kėdainiai sporto centras will play the next match away, where we will challenge the "Biržų" team. In the meantime, the people of Vilnius will go to Kaunas, where the first derby match will take place against the "Žalgiris-3" team.
