Utena's "Juventus-Užpalių" (15/0) team, which is playing impressively, remains the only Nostra.lt-RKL team that has not experienced a single defeat this season.
This time, in front of their own audience, the Ute players crushed the VKM-NAPC (101/73) basketball players 29:24 (22:16, 30:15, 20:18, 7:8).
In the second half, Uteniks trailed their opponents by a double-digit difference (51:40), but the decisive quarter that led to the victory was the third. Through it, the home team scored 30 points (30:15) and accumulated a guaranteed 26-point advantage (81:55).
In the fourth quarter, it was an even fight, and the home fans were delighted by Karolis Kvederavičius scoring the team's 100th point.
Gintautas Matulis scored 22 points for the winners, Ernestas Leipus scored 20, Titas Didžgalvis added 17.
For Vilnius, Pijus Dobilas scored 16 points, Mantas Liutkevičius scored 12, Rokas Baltrushaitis added 10 points.
Division A
In the confrontation between Klaipeda and Kaunas, the latter won
Pupils of Roko Kondratavičius 79:75 (26:17, 21:21, 16:22, 16:15) defeated Klaipėda LCC International University (9/10).
With 1:15 minutes remaining, after a layup by Ned Raupelis, the score became equal (75:75).
Later, Ned Raupelis responded with another two-pointer to put the home team ahead. In the ranks of Klaipėda team, Mantas Litvinas missed from a distance, and the victory for the young Žalgiris players was secured by Frenchman Thomas Guillaume Bassong after hitting both free throws (79:75).
On the other side of the field, Cornelius Zik's attempts to attack the basket were unsuccessful and the result remained unchanged.
Nedas Raupelis, who scored 13 points (11 rebounds), led the winners to victory, Majus Bulanovas scored 12, Kajus Mikalauskas added 10 points.
The aforementioned Kornelijs Zikas shone in the ranks of LCC after scoring 27 points, while Paulius Narvilas scored 17.
