In Vilnius, it was a fight until the last seconds and the hosts triumphed
The Vilnius "Ryto-MRU" team achieved a dramatic victory in front of their spectators (6-4) Laurynas Samėnas' students 79:76 (17:16, 18:21, 23:20, 21:19) defeated Kazlų Rūda "Ataka"-Kaunas college basketball players (4-6).
There was a tough fight throughout the match. After two quarters, the guests from Kazlų Rūda gained a fragile two-point advantage (37:35).
In the third quarter, the picture on the court did not change, and before the decisive 10 minutes of the game, the home team had a minimal advantage (58:57).

With 1:11 minutes left before the end of the game, the Vilnius team had a one-point advantage (75:74). Then Matas Deniušas increased this lead to 3.
The guests had two chances to equalize the score, but both Jaunias Davniukas and Matas Makauskas' three-pointers went wide. Vilnius made free throws and secured a difficult victory at home.
The winners were led to victory by Gabrielius Jokubauskas who scored 28 points, Ignas Urbonas scored 16, Titas Pundinas added 13 points.
"Ataka" - Kaunas College, Matas Makauskas scored 25 points, Jaunius Davniukas scored 24.
Division B
in Trakai – overtime and the victory of the guests from Vilnius
The VKM-NAPC team won a dramatic victory (6-3). Edvin Justa's students after extra time 94:88 (20:20, 17:19, 24:14, 18:26, 15:9) broke the resistance of the Trakai (2-7) team.
The first half of the match was persistent, after which the hosts gained a 2-point advantage (39:37). The second half of the match was marked by a changing battle. The Vilnius team played a solid third quarter and built up an 8-point lead (61:53).
In the decisive half "Trakai" caught up with the opponents and tied the score 24 seconds before the end of the game (79:79).
VKM-NAPC had a chance to snatch the victory in the main time of the match, but the shots of Matas Liutkevičius and Daniel Lavrinovich were off target.
In extra time, the visitors from Vilnius appeared more confident, controlling the additional five minutes of the game and managing to pull off a hard-fought victory in Trakai.
For the winners, Daniel Lavrinovich scored 28 points, Pijus Dobilas scored 18, Titas Troška added 16 points.
Modestas Gauba scored 23 points for Trakai, Domantas Pikūnas scored 16.
