Vilnius city municipality informs that it will seek to install an additional one public transport lane in the direction from Dūkšta st. to the intersection of Ozo/Buivydiškės/Ćžuolynas streets. It is intended to extend the public transport lane from the mentioned intersection to On Oz Street, next to the sports club, the public transport stop "Vaikau kaimas". An additional public transport lane of almost 400 meters will be installed in the part of Buivydiškių street.
Reconstruction of the intersection. It is also planned to transform the Ozo / Buivydiškių / Äžuolyna street intersection itself. During the reconstruction of the intersection, it is planned to remodel it, to install bicycle paths on all sides of the intersection, and to relocate the street lighting.
The design proposals also present solutions for the prospective reconstruction of the 135-meter-long section of Viršuliškių street from the intersection of Oz / Buivydiškių / Ĺžuolynos streets.
