UAB "Vilniaus viešasis transportas" is a company belonging to the Vilnius City Municipality, responsible for the servicing of Vilnius city bus and trolleybus routes, the maintenance of the available vehicles and the infrastructure required for them.
The main activity of the company is the transportation of passengers on established routes. Currently, there are 78 bus and 18 trolley bus routes in Vilnius.
