Traveling by public transport does not always leave a pleasant impression. This was confirmed by Danutė from Vilnius, who contacted the news portal tv3.lt and shared an extremely unpleasant experience.

According to the woman, the journeys on the route 19 bus were extremely unpleasant, and the sight was so unpleasant that she did not even have time to take a picture of what she saw.

It was busy

As Danutė says, everything happened on one bus that takes you to Salininki.

She doesn't hide that her trip soured the moment she sat down on a wet, possibly soaked seat: “I was freaking out. Not only was the bus unkempt and dirty, I also sat on a freshly wet seat.

The seat was completely wet, you couldn't see it on that material, but I felt it very well, I didn't expect such a sight and sensation," says the reader.

According to her, unattended buses are not new, she notices the mess especially in those buses that pass by Stations microdistrict in Vilnius.

Sorry for the dirt

In turn, Vilnius public transport Giedrė Buivydaitė, head of communication and marketing, regrets that the passenger's trip was soured by dirt on the bus.

"The company has implemented and adheres to a standard of cleanliness, which means that every day when a vehicle returns to the fleet, it is washed, swept, and the armrests, handrails and seats are cleaned.

The cleanliness of the bus or trolleybus is also checked by the driver before leaving the fleet. It happens that the passengers themselves behave in a disorderly manner in the vehicle during the trip, so if there are cases of dirtiness on the route, other passengers may encounter it when they board the vehicle during the trip.

Although the drivers are obliged to take care of the cleanliness of the buses at the end stops and rings during the route: go through the cabin, check cleanliness, collect garbage, there are cases that not all dirt can be removed. Once again, we apologize to the passenger for the inconvenience," says the spokeswoman.
