Capital repair of Skroblų street is underway in the section between Naugarduks and Žemaitė streets. Along with the street repair, the greenery is also managed.

There are 108 trees growing on Skroblų street in Naujamiestis. A dense belt of bushes will be formed near the trees, which will prevent the pollution emitted by cars from freely reaching the pedestrian path, making the street more comfortable and pleasant to walk on. It will also improve the conditions for the trees growing here - it will create a more favorable microclimate in the understory, retain moisture on hot summer days, and protect dark tree trunks from direct sunlight. Decorative and flowering bushes will diversify the already green background of the street with their color. Cars parking lots separated from the sidewalks by elderberry and forsythia bushes. Larger bushes cast shade on hard surfaces, reducing the heating of the surface from the sun and providing more comfort for pedestrians. Bearberry bushes will be planted in isolated islands and undergrowth where it is difficult to mow and maintain the lawn. In the southern part of the street, a larger array of plants is being designed to cover the intensive traffic on Naugardukas Street. In total, about 2000 bushes will be planted, some willow trees.

During the maintenance of the street, 10 trees will be removed, which are wounded, covered with rot, and withered. 9 of them cannot be stored. Two birches will be transplanted.
