As the Vilnius City Municipality actively removes illegal metal towns, more and more territories are freed up for the development of the city. For example, an apartment block will be built on the territory of the former metal garages in Pašilaičiai borough. UAB " will be discussed at the public meeting with the publicBonava Lithuaniaproject proposals have been prepared, which present the development possibilities of the second-stage apartment block on Pumpėnai street. In this phase, two blocks of apartment buildings would be built.

"An integral urban concept of the block will be created for the planned plot and other adjacent plots managed by the same owner (Pumpėnu st. 2 and 6, Grigalaukio st. 48 and Justiniškių st. 104). Perimeter construction is formed on separate plots with private spaces intended only for the residents of that yard: children's playgrounds, quiet and active recreation areas. The main highlight of the planned block is a pedestrian alley that will connect the green spaces of the surrounding areas. It is the main attraction that invites you to stop by the quarter. In the outer boundaries of the plots, the volumes of the buildings are arranged in a clear perimeter, while the inner buildings of the block forming the alley are turned at various angles. They break the orderly geometric space, creating unexpected angles typical of the typology of the old town. This public space is landscaped with trees and shrubs. It is a quiet and active leisure zone: walking paths, activities for children and adults, cafe terraces, etc. The alley will be used not only by the residents of this block but also by the neighboring communities. To strengthen the idea, an accent green color of various shades is used, which becomes the dominant color of the alley" - the project proposals write about the future development of the area.

"In phase II, two sectional-type residential buildings are being designed, in which one- to four-room apartments are planned. The main entrances to the staircases of the residential premises are planned from the inner courtyard, and the entrances to the commercial premises are from the street side, so the flows of residents and visitors will not differ. The apartments are accessed from the stairwell.

In the basement, car and bicycle parking spaces, engineering network input rooms and auxiliary rooms for residents are designed. On the first floor of Building F, on the perimeter of Justiniškių Street, commercial premises are being designed with direct access from the street area, the municipal sidewalk," the design proposals state.

We will remind you that last year we wrote that the Scandinavian real estate development company "Bonava Lietuva" plans to build more than 700 apartments in Pašilaičiai. You can read the whole article HERE.
