LTG group passenger transport company "LTG Link" calculates that more and more Lithuanian business companies buy train tickets for their employees' trips - partnership agreements concluded with more than 500 companies, after the Vilnius-Riga-Vilnius route was created, companies with offices in the capital of Latvia buy train tickets for their employees. 

This year alone, the share of business customers on the Vilnius–Riga–Vilnius route was almost 7 percent. The Vilnius-Kaunas-Vilnius train route remains the most popular for business companies, which is used by approximately 50 percent. of all "LTG Link" business customers, 16 percent. takes place on the route Vilnius–Klaipeda– Vilnius, 4 percent. business customers travel on the Vilnius–Turmantas–Vilnius route. 

Employees of IT, advertising, consulting companies usually go on business trips by train. Educational institutions buy tickets for students and schoolchildren, and travel agencies buy tickets for their customers. Tickets are usually bought when going on business trips, meetings, trainings or seminars, team building trips. 

With the emergence of a new international route, the employees of the telecommunications company "Bitė Lietuva" also choose sustainable and convenient train trips. "Many colleagues from Bitė Lietuva, as well as Bitė Group, which manages the company, travel to Riga, and Bitė LatvijaColleagues often visit Vilnius. As a result, we have a constant flow of people traveling between the two capitals, who mostly travel by car or fly. However, when you add in time to and from the airport, as well as airport screening time, the new train journeys have become a serious alternative to flights. Trains can also replace car trips, because we can spend the tiring time spent on driving on work, study or rest," says Modestas Ropė, Director of New Generation Networks at digital services company "Bitė Lietuva", who is responsible for the development of new generation 5G networks. 

Business customers traveled more than 5 million kilometers in total during the year, thus saving more than 45 thousand. ton of CO2. "For the second year already, we have been observing the rapid growth of business customers, the number of such trips has increased by more than 2023 percent in 50 alone," says Kristina Meidė, head of LTG Link. 

According to K. Meidė, the circle of business customers is growing not only by the desire to travel sustainably and comfortably, but also by the ticket sales system implemented last year, which substantially simplified the provision of services to business customers - not only can they buy tickets cheaper and more quickly, but it is also easier to plan trips or , change when circumstances change.
