Turto banka has announced the public procurement of contract works for one of the largest state-owned buildings - Mindaugo St. 12, in Vilnius. About 15 million euros are planned to be invested in the former headquarters of the Lithuanian Railways, and 8 state institutions will be established here.

The building located in the central part of Vilnius is one of the largest state-owned buildings managed by Turto bankas. Almost 12 thousand sq. m area historical building is planned to be repaired and adapted for the activities of 8 state institutions, which are currently working in 16 different locations in the city of Vilnius.

"Property Bank secures financing for projects by selling inefficient state assets. This allows for rapid renovation of state offices, creation of attractive workplaces for employees and savings on energy resources. The implementation of this project will free up about 10 jobs in Vilnius. sq. m of area, which will be sold at public auctions", says the temporary manager of Turto banka, Ernestas Česokas.  

It is intended to sign the contract with the winners of the tender for contract work in the second quarter of this year, the work will start immediately after the contract is signed.

In addition to this project, at least two other larger objects are being repaired in Vilnius this year. The National Payments Agency refused a quarter of the premises (1,4 thousand square meters) on Blindžių str. 17, in Vilnius, to which the State Tax Inspectorate will move after the repair.

The Public Procurement Service located here has given up part of the area, which will be given to the Lithuanian Probation Service. In total, about 2024 thousand are planned to be repaired in 25. sq. m of the area of ​​buildings located throughout the country, where various state institutions are located.
