Regarding the festive events to celebrate the Day of the Restoration of the State of Lithuania, February 15-17 temporary traffic restrictions and short-term stops are expected in the center of Vilnius and in the old town. You are invited to come to the events by free public transport. 

Temporary traffic restrictions and short-term stops

In preparation for the events of February 16, which have already become a tradition, from February 15 at 19 p.m. until February 17 4 hours vehicle traffic will be prohibited on Gediminas Avenue from Šventaragi to Vilniaus Street.

From February 15 10 o'clock until February 16 9 o'clock vehicular traffic will be prohibited on St. On Jono street and the part of Pilies street from Literata to St. Mykolos streets (except public transport), and on February 16 9 a.m. to 16 p.m. all vehicular traffic will be prohibited on the said streets. From February 14 10 o'clock until February 16 10 o'clock it will not be possible to use the parking lot at St. John's Church. 

February 16 11.30:13 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. vehicular traffic will be prohibited on University Street, except for the transport of event participants.

February 16 9 a.m. to 18 p.m. vehicle traffic is also prohibited in the part of Totorių street from St. Ignoto to Liejyklos Street, except for the transport of event participants, L. Stuokos-Gucevičiaus Street. in the part from Liejyklos st. from the beginning to the building L. Stuokos-Gucevičiaus str. 9 and in the part of Liejyklos Street from S. Skapo to L. Stuokas-Gucevičiaus Street.

During festive processions organized by a private initiative, temporary traffic stops are possible in the Old Town and the center of Vilnius.

February 16 10-11.30:XNUMX a.m. - the participants of the youth march will gather On the Cathedral Square and will go along Šventaragis, Pilies, Didžiąja, Aušras Vartų, M. Daukša, Rasų streets to the Rasų cemetery. 

February 16 14 to 16 p.m. - participants of the procession will gather near Gediminas Ave. and Gynėj st. intersections and will go to Gedimina Ave. to Vincos Kudirka Square.

February 16 from 18 p.m. - the participants of the procession will gather at the monument of Jonas Basanavičius and continue along Aušros Vartė, Didžiaja, Vokiečių, Vilniaus streets, Gediminas avenue to Lukiškių square.

In commemoration of the day of the restoration of the state of Lithuania, all public transport in the city of Vilnius will be free of charge and will run on regular routes according to Saturday schedules. 

From 16 p.m. Buses of routes 1G, 10, 53 and trolleybuses of routes 2, 7 will run more often. The traffic schedules of buses and trolleybuses of the mentioned routes will change accordingly. 

Also, during the festive processions, temporary buses 1G, 3G, 10, 11, 13, 22, 31, 33, 34, 53, 73, 74, 88, 89, SU-MENĖK and 2, 3, 4, 6, 10 are available. , 12, 17 trolleybus routes deviations from the traffic schedule.
