On the occasion of Liars' Day, MadeinVilnius.lt's editors decided to make a joke that the first tram line will be installed in Vilnius. After the publication of the article, real emotions boiled over - some said that a tram is needed in Vilnius and this is a painful topic, while others still think that this means of transport is unnecessary. We decided to ask Vilnius residents what they think about trams in Vilnius.
40 percent Vilnius residents (1561 votes) think that trolleybuses and buses are enough for Vilnius, while trams are unnecessary. 34 percent disagreed with them. of respondents (1321 votes) who believe that this vehicle is necessary in the city. Another 5 percent (187 votes) believes that one tram line would be enough in Vilnius.
Another 17 percent of respondents (642 votes) believe that a metro project would be better for the city. Instead, the question turned out to be irrelevant for 4 percent. people (155 votes).
