Registration for Vilnius schools starts tomorrow. Applications to territorial educational institutions can be submitted until May 31. The time of submitting the application will have no effect on the admission results, so parents do not need to rush.
Parents who want to apply to those schools where admission is done through competition or to schools that implement specialized educational (engineering/sports) programs, elements of a unique pedagogical system, applications must be submitted by March 31.
Applications must be submitted by future first-graders, as well as those changing schools, those transferring from pro-gymnasiums to gymnasiums, parents of students who have come to live in the capital, students who are transferring to study at a higher level program - the fifth, ninth (I gymnasium) or III gymnasium class - in the same school.

1. In the application, it is possible to specify three educational institutions - one of them must necessarily be according to the declared place of residence. If you do not indicate the school that belongs to the declared place of residence, the system will not allow you to submit an application (you can get acquainted with the school service areas here).
2. Applications submitted in the system are automatically forwarded for consideration to all schools specified in the application, which further organize admission.
3. If the school receives more applications than it can accept students, it will be guided by the criteria of priority and admission without sequence established in the description. For example, the priority criteria apply to: orphans, children, children of large families, twins, etc., as well as children whose declared place of residence in that territory is between two and six years of age of one of the parents and the child himself.
4. The parents of those who took part in the admission to schools that accept by competition or schools that implement programs of specialized education (engineering/sports), elements of a unique pedagogical system, will receive the first invitations in May. The invitations of the remaining educational institutions will be sent at the beginning of June. Also, parents will be informed about received invitations by a separate message to the e-mail address they indicated. postal address. The student's representatives will have to confirm the acceptance of one of the received invitations by e-mail. in the system and sign the e-mail contract with the educational institution. Please note that children are given the opportunity until m. June 9 receive all possible invitations from educational institutions and only then make a decision.
5. Schools that entered competitive programs and implemented specialized educational programs or elements of a unique pedagogical system and did not get into them will be able to revise their applications on May 30-31.
