Sunflowers will be sown in Vilnius on Sunday as a sign of support for Ukraine, which is defending itself against Russian military aggression.
The sunflower sowing campaign is organized by the memorial complex of the Tuskulėnai Rimties Park, the Genocide and Resistance Research Center of the Lithuanian Population reported.
During the event, respect and support for war-torn Ukraine will be expressed.
Sunflower is considered an unofficial symbol of Ukraine.
