Already this weekend, the Alley of Lithuanian Cultural Centers located in the Music Hall of the Book Fair will become a place where visitors will discover the diverse cultural life of our cities and towns. 

Creative meetings, discussions, educational activities, events, which will highlight the most important events of this year - the significant centenary of the annexation of Klaipėda region to Lithuania, the commemoration of Tauragė - the cultural capital of Lithuania, announcing the important news about 2024. "There is an active cultural life in the regions of Lithuania, there are many cultural centers that successfully organize the dissemination of not only amateur but also professional art, carry out educational activities, and organize art collectives. Over 50 events are held here per year. of events combining various art genres, richly involving local communities. Cultural centers work every day to bring people together in their cities through song and dance - it is here, with intensive rehearsals and concerts, that preparations are being made for the centenary of the Lithuanian song festival tradition. Already this year, a concert tour will travel through the cities of Lithuania, inviting people to this event that unites thousands," said Saulius Liausa, director of the Lithuanian National Cultural Center. 

Discussions

Representatives of cultural institutions and society, project organizers, performers will participate in the discussions held on the Conversation Stage of the Music Hall.

Entertainment

The most important cultural events will be presented by amateur art collectives operating in the cultural centers of the country: the folklore ensembles of the Klaipėda Ethnoculture Center, the choir of the capital's children and youth center "Kivi", Panevėžys district. wind instrument orchestra "Aukštyn", children's and youth folk dance ensemble "Žirginėliai" of the Plungė cultural center and collectives of the Tauragė region.
