Savitas, the "anime" animation style originating from Japan has become popular all over the world and is gaining more and more interest in Lithuania. Over the years, McDonald's has been the inspiration for anime movies and series, often featuring a counterpart to McDonald's. The chain's new initiative marks a major step in integrating global cultures into the dining experience.

McDonald's strives not only to offer its visitors the tastiest dishes, but also to provide them with new unexpected experiences.

"This spring, the international campaign of McDonald's gives us the opportunity to present the globally popular anime culture in restaurants operating in Lithuania. From April, a special mood of the anime theme will prevail in our network, which will surprise visitors with new characters of this style, special packaging and dishes with an exceptional taste," says Vladimir Janevski, CEO of McDonald's in the Baltic States.

As part of the campaign, McDonald's will also introduce a new spicy, anime-themed WcDonald's Chili Sauce, which includes ginger, garlic and soy. This unique combination is further spiced up with a small amount of chili pepper flakes, giving each bite an energetic burst of flavor that reflects the spunk of the beloved anime characters.

In addition, McDonald's will present the food in special packaging designed by the famous manga illustrator Acky Bright.

Every week for more than a month, McDonald's will launch a new episode of the WcDonald's special anime and manga comic online. Joining the adventures of the heroes, restaurant visitors will be able to dive even deeper into the enchanting world of WcDonald's.
