"Two anticyclones are strengthening - Reiner from the south and Sven from the southwest. Along with them, increasingly warmer air flows from the south will bring even warmer, drier weather. It is true that at the beginning of the week, the atmospheric front that lingered over the Baltic Sea will still migrate, so it may rain for a short time in the western and north-western edge, and even a weak thunderstorm may occur here on Monday. Elsewhere it will be dry, the sun will shine longer, unless the dust of the Sahara, having reached us with the southerly currents, will not darken the sky again... In the second half of the week, another anticyclone should strengthen, this time from the north, the sky will be brighter and higher. But the cooler air of the polar latitudes will slowly sweep through Scandinavia, so next weekend will already be cooler. And for now, beautiful, summery weather awaits. Only those traveling to the seaside should keep in mind that it will sometimes be cooler here (watch the water temperature, because it usually controls the weather) and the fog is cold, the gray wall can stand", writes weather forecaster Elvyra Latvėnaitė.
