"Tomorrow, an already subdued cyclone named Yupadee (Renata) will reach Lithuania. In the morning and during the day, it will bring precipitation - not only rain, but also drizzle, and will revive part of Lithuania with a stronger wind. Colder and colder, the air from the polar latitudes will blow. Therefore, this night will be cold - with frost in the air and on the surface of the soil, especially in the north-western, northern areas. In the morning, cloudiness will increase in the southern and southwestern regions, it will start to rain, so it will be the warmest and weakest frosts here. Later, the cyclones will die down for a while, bringing some rain, but the colder air will remain and penetrate further south. On Friday, the cyclone, which arose from the south, will travel near Lithuania, the northerly wind will strengthen. Snow should mix with the sleet. Streams of even colder air will sweep across Scandinavia and the Baltics. Therefore, according to the current data, the coldest nights should be Saturday and Sunday. The beginning of next week with beautiful and warm weather will not make you happy either," writes forecaster Elvyra Latvėnaitė.
