Due to the discovery of a suspicious object near Jonava, train traffic on the routes Vilnius-Klaipeda and Kaunas–Šiauliai, reported "LTG Link".
According to the information of the Kaunas Police Commissariat, a suspicious object similar to an explosive was found near Jonava, on Taurosta Street, near the railway bridge.
As a result, traffic is stopped on the Vilnius–Klaipėda and Kaunas–Šiauliai routes, trains no. 781 (Vilnius–Šiauliai) and no. 42 (Kaunas–Šiauliai). Trains may be delayed for at least 60 minutes. The traffic of other trains (No. 17 Vilnius–Klaipėda, No. 56 Kaunas–Šiauliai) may also be disrupted.
"LTG Infra's responsible persons are communicating with the services and will constantly update the information," the report reads.
