  1. Enduring says:

I had previously drawn attention to the danger on Ozo Street. for cyclists and pedestrians. This has not been resolved, and now even in the new Ozo st. in the reconstruction plan PASIGENDU solutions to make the traffic of cyclists and pedestrians smoother and safer. Strategic problem: between Žirmūnai and all western districts, there is not a single somewhat safer route for bicycles. In the planned Ozo st. I do not see in the reconstruction plan that the long-standing great danger of crossing the Iron Wolf and Acropolis intersections is addressed. If you don't see other possibilities, then at least provide a deceleration ramp for cars before turning/turning from/into overpasses and draw rectangles for cyclists to cross.

  2. .. says:

They could fix the roads for pedestrians, because when you try to cross the road, there are drivers who beep their horns because there is no crosswalk and they explain that it is not a place to walk. Of course, most of them are good-natured and spend, but there are also angry ones.

  3. When? says:

And when Ozo st. will finally be connected to Laisvės pr., when it will no longer be necessary to turn in circles past Đžuolyna and Viršuliškių st. and suffocate at the crossroads of fashion? Such a large highway in Ozo st. ends with some kind of appendicitis.

    • Antanas says:

Never, because it messes up the graveyard.

      • Arvydas Norkūnas says:

Tunnel! In the holy city of Jerusalem, only the rampage of Muslim extremists stopped the construction of the tunnel under the cemetery. Who among us takes extremist positions, do you think?

      • Kaps says:

Don't mess with the cemetery, there isn't a single grave in that stretch, just a concrete fence and dead trees

      • Not a connoisseur says:

It seems there is a space roughly parallel to Ozo St. where there are no graves in the cemetery. The exit would be near Pal. Jurgis Matulaitis churches. I have not been to that place, I am judging from the Google Maps satellite image. Ažuolyna and Viršuliškių st. relief for residents and workers I think is necessary if there is an opportunity. And if it is really not possible, the sections of the mentioned streets should be distributed according to the possibilities.

    • Parts says:

There is a cemetery area, but it is possible to dig a h-2.3 m tunnel. This is a 2-month job. Everywhere in Vilnius, I miss low-level tunnels for transport and transportation. The soil is light and the underground water is deep. I can see the underground passages under the railway line on Naujininku and Zuikiu streets, there could also be light and emergency tunnels.

  4. Pits says:

I'd better organize the volunteer prospectus..

  5. Michael says:

I wonder how the issue of the sidewalk and bicycle path will be solved over the viaduct at Gelezinis Vilkas street, there are bicycle paths leading to and beyond it, but crossing the viaduct is difficult due to the high curbs and stairs - because there is no entrance and there are no lighted pedestrian crossings in that area, which complicates the transition and crossing, because cars are often not noticed in the dark

    • Endure says:

For example, making overpasses for pedestrians and bicycles, allowing cars to drive under mini viaducts. In this case, the movement of cars will not be completely stopped and at the same time the threat of pedestrians being hit in the dark during the day will disappear.

  6. The Golden sword says:

All serious streets must have a lanes in a city where buses are the only VT. Such projects should have been done a long time ago.

  7. tomuks says:

and again lanes for buses 🙂 Fast lanes have been made for cars that are in a hurry. It is allowed to drive at 80 km/h

    • Almanta says:

These are all people and "hurries". Soon that one lane will get even more crowded and there will definitely be accidents.

    • traffic light says:

At first, it was enough to get off the phone and life improved
