UFOs are recorded in Vilnius: spotted even in several micro-districts (video)

Domas from Vilnius addressed the editorial office of "MadeinVilnius.lt" regarding the October 10. of strange phenomena observed in the sky of the capital. According to the Antakalnis resident, he observed strange light sources - possibly unidentified flying objects (UFOs).

It did not resemble sky lanterns

"I live at the end of Antakalnis, near Valakampii. I walk the dog every morning and evening on these wooded shores, I have my own route. I noticed a strange formation of 3 lights on Monday around 23pm. evening Three brightly glowing points hung in an orderly formation, which later began to move actively," said the man from Vilnius.

According to the resident, his attention was immediately drawn to the fast, very dynamic movements of these objects, which are not characteristic of the usual sky lanterns released during various holidays.

Finally, these UFOs began to flash: “At first, as usual, I thought they were really Chinese lanterns released during the holidays. Their increased movements caught my eye, and I realized that I was seeing something unusual when the lights in the sky started to flash.

Other residents also noticed

Shortly after the incident, upon returning home, the witness Domas shared his impressions on social networks, in the groups of residents of the surrounding microdistricts. It turns out that there were more Vilnius residents who saw and were surprised by this unusual phenomenon that evening.

There was no shortage of speculations on the Facebook social network about what it could be: a military operation, UFOs, drones or celestial bodies - the formation of the sun, moon and north star.

“Yesterday NATO air reconnaissance worked around Vilnius. It could be them," speculated Karolis from Vilnius in the "Antakalniečiai community" social network group.

"Something similar was recorded in Finland," writes Andrius, another Vilnius resident, adding a link to the alleged UFO sighting in Helsinki, seemingly no different from the sight seen by Vilnius residents.

When the editors contacted the witnesses of the event, it became clear that this week Vilnius residents noticed unidentified luminous objects in the north-east of Vilnius in as many as three places: right next to the Valakampiai Bridge, in a forest near E. Pliaterytė Gymnasium and near the Vilnius City Clinical Hospital, traveling in the direction of Žirmūnai.

"I was driving from Saulėtekis towards the library restaurant McDonald's. I was on the Valakampiai bridge when I saw three bright lights in the sky above Neris. I stopped behind the bridge to take a look, but after a while they blinked and disappeared," says one of the witnesses of the event.

There were no flights

According to the data of flightradar24.com, a portal that records the movement of aircraft in the sky, on September 9, around 23 p.m. no civil aviation planes flew, landed or made any movements in the mentioned territories in the city of Vilnius.

The closest flights to this time Vilnius airport took place earlier: around 22 p.m. 30 minutes landed "WizzAir" company plane (WZZ8084) from Malaga; around 22 p.m. 40 minutes "MGA" company plane (MGH931) from Antalya landed.

Both of these planes arrived from the south and did not fly through the mentioned city areas. At the mentioned time (around 23 p.m.) there were no take-offs or landings at Vilnius airport.

No sky anomalies were recorded

Determining whether it could be any celestial body is also possible in the handy Stellarium, a free program popular with scientists and amateur sky watchers. It displays a realistic 3D sky - the same as you can see with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope.

However, at the specified time and place on Monday and Tuesday evenings, nothing like the formation of three bright and shining points was recorded in the sky. That night, Saturn and Jupiter could be seen in the clear sky of the city of Vilnius, but no bright star groups.
