The ratio of natural ingredients discovered through experimentation and the unexpectedly light texture of the product became the essential key to success - convinced natural cosmetics creator Lena Sokolovska. The natural hair serum created by the Lithuanian team beat an impressive group of competitors in the cosmetics competition Pure Beauty Awards London 2019 won a bronze medal in the nomination "New Organic Cosmetic Product of the Year".

When evaluating cosmetics, attention was paid to product benefits, efficiency, uniqueness in the field of sales, packaging, functionality and innovativeness.

"We sent our products and application at the beginning of the year. At first, we were impatiently waiting for the results, because we really believed in what we had created. When we saw the list of participants, which included very well-known names in both the synthetic and natural cosmetics market, we "chilled" a little... We realized that the competition is fierce.

That's why it was so unexpected when we got into the top twenty in the "New Organic Product of the Year" category. Somehow we didn't expect more, we were preparing for the upcoming holiday trade, we even forgot... When we received the official letter from the organizers that we won the bronze, it was so unexpected that we even danced a victory dance at work with the team!", -  laughs Lena Sokolovska, the founder of Uoga Uoga.

In the 18th edition of the awards, natural and organic cosmetics have three separate categories. The organizers of the contest announced that they had received a record number of participants this year. The creator of the natural brand is happy that she managed to win bronze in the organic product category. L. Sokolovska thinks that the fact that the product was a product specifically for hair could have made an impression on the evaluators.

"There are two trends in hair care products. If the product is synthetic, then there is a whole bunch of additives - silicones, parabens and the like, and if it is natural - it is pure oil, but such that it is not convenient to use, because it weighs down the hair a lot. Therefore, you either have to walk around with greasy hair, or choose a product with additives that you don't like. Our goal was to create such a serum for the ends of the hair, which would be extremely light, but at the same time 100%. natural and organic", -   the cosmetics creator was happy.

"Uoga Uoga" has been developing and producing natural and organic cosmetics for nine years and is the first Lithuanian cosmetics brand to certify its cosmetics as natural and organic, with the strictest "COSMOS natural" and "COSMOS organic" certificates recognized in Europe.
