The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) has announced the list of players who have registered for the ATP "Challenger" series tournament "Vilnius Open by kevin." to be held in mid-October.

The Czech tennis player Tomas Machac (ATP-107) is at the top of the list, the favorite of local fans Ričardas Berankis (ATP-120), the Italian Gianluca Mageri (ATP-162) is the third, and the Bosnian Nermans Fatičius (ATP-199) is the fourth.

The list of the eight participants of the "Vilnius Open by kevin" with the highest ATP ranking is completed by the French neighbors Laurent Lokoli (ATP-205) and Antoine Escoffier (ATP-206), the Italian Stefano Travaglia (ATP-211) and the Slovak Lukas Klein (ATP-219). ).

The list also includes the Bosnian Mirza Basičius (ATP-292), well-known to Lithuanian tennis fans, and the best Latvian tennis player of recent times, Ernests Gulbis (ATP-296), who in 2014 rose to the 10th position in the ATP ranking.

Directly according to the available ATP ranking, 21 tennis players will enter the tournament. 6 places will be reserved for the strongest players of the qualifying tournament, and 2 for tennis players who should play in the qualifying tournament, but cannot do so because they are fighting in the semifinals or finals of a tournament of the same level held a week earlier.

The remaining 3 places in the tournament, according to the decision of the organizers, went to Lithuanian tennis players Vilius Gaub, Ed Butvilis and Ainis Sabaliauskas.

The qualifying competition of the first ATP "Challenger" series tournament in Lithuania will take place on October 16-17 in "SEB Arena" in Vilnius. The main tournament will start there on October 17, and the singles final will be played on October 23.

The prize fund of the tournament consists of more than 45 thousand. euros. The winner will receive 730 ATP ranking points.
