Taking care of the good health and quality of life of young Vilnius residents, there are four child and youth-friendly service offices in the capital. In them, young people can receive professional help from specialists and consult on important health issues free of charge, anonymously and without prior registration.

"Children and young people often face various emotional and physical health difficulties, but they often have nothing to ask and do not know how to overcome them. The search for help is often stopped by the fear that other peers, parents or guardians will find out about the difficulties experienced. The opportunity to receive qualified help from health specialists free of charge and anonymously is extremely important for every young person, providing him with more information, help, and sometimes just confidence and assurance in the issues that arise for him," says the Vice Mayor of Vilnius, Simona Bieliūnė. 

Help in favorable service offices for children and youth is provided individually or in a group according to their needs and interests. Young people up to the age of 29 can contact us without prior registration with questions about healthy lifestyles, mental health, sexual and reproductive health and to consult on other topics related to well-being and health.

"If children or young people have emotional, physical or other difficulties, even after the holidays, they do not disappear anywhere. Dealing with overwhelming feelings, doubts or getting the help you need in time is very important. We invite you not to be afraid to consult with qualified health specialists who will help you find a solution or, if necessary, provide information about options for continued assistance," says Viktorija Turauskytė, Vilnius city municipalities head of the Health Protection Department of the administration.

According to the activity program of child and youth-friendly service offices, they also organize live and remote lectures on issues of sexuality, suicide and depression prevention, nutrition lectures for children and youth, and physiotherapists conduct free exercises.

Currently, there are four child and youth-friendly service offices in Vilnius: in Antakalni, in Karoliniškės, in the center and in Šeškinė. in 2024 at the beginning, it is planned to open another office in Naujininkai.
