The bailiffs are selling the buildings of the former Lentvaris manor, except for the main palace, owned by the bankrupt businessman Laimutis Pinkevičius.

For 275 thousand a stable, a water mill, a water tower and a water tower are for sale at the starting price of EUR. This is the first foreclosure auction, which will last until July 17.

In 2016, in the auctions announced by the bailiffs, the Ranga group subsidiary of L. Pinkevičius' family company, RG landmark, was sold for 540. The main manor building and the leasehold right to a 2,5 hectare plot of land were sold for EUR.

Ugnius Kiguolis, the businessman who bought it and is currently renovating it, told BNS that he has no plans to buy the buildings currently for sale.

"I saw objects for sale, maybe there will be an owner who will restore these objects as well. "Three years ago, we did not agree with Laimučius (Pinkevičius - BNS) on the price of these objects, and at the moment the initial price indicated in the competition does not tempt me," he said.

U. Kiguolis said that he is currently renovating the manor house.

"Since the acquisition, the works at Lentvaris Manor have not stopped for a single day. It took more than a year to coordinate the project with various institutions. At the moment, electricity has already been brought to the plot, and joint water and sewerage is being coordinated with the city. The manor together with several apartment buildings in that area of Lentvaris are still not connected to the city networks. It also already has a new roof, and renovation work on the facade is halfway through," he said in a comment to BNS.

According to U. Kiguolis, a museum, a hotel, a restaurant, a cafe, an art incubator are planned to be installed in the manor - a laboratory for the production of natural perfumes, scents and various natural remedies is planned to be installed there.

"The technical estimate of the project is 7 million. euros. In 2018, a small amount of support was received - about 700 thousand. euros for tower and facade renovation works. The expected end of the work on the tower and the renovation of the facade is the beginning of 2022," said U. Kiguolis.

L. Pinkevičius bought the Lentvaris manor in 2007. Then he told the media that he plans to turn the estate ensemble into a recreation, entertainment and tourism destination accessible to the public. The intention is to restore the water mill, the forge, the cafe, fix up the park, and restore the interiors to the look of the Tiškevičius era. The businessman intended to live in the palace.

The loan for the purchase of the buildings was granted by SEB banka, but when its repayment was stuck, in 2012 the bank unilaterally terminated the contract and applied for forced debt collection.

The English neo-Gothic style Lentvaris manor was built in the 1957th century and belonged to the Counts Tiškevičiai. A large park was built around the palace according to the project of the famous French landscape architect Eduard Andre. Since XNUMX, the administration of the then Lentvaris carpet factory was located in the palace.

Since 2008, the Lentvaris manor palace has been included in the list of cultural heritage objects.
