President Gitanas Nauseda with his wife Diana Nausėdiene, while congratulating on the holy Easter, they urge us to remain unsatisfied with anger and injustice.
"At this special moment, I want to wish all of you to protect that wonderful quality of our nation - the sharp intolerance of anger and injustice. Let's celebrate everything that gives our lives more dignity and hope", said the head of the country while addressing the population on Saturday.
He emphasized that the Easter bell reminds us that light overcomes darkness.
"Today we celebrate what we believe and what we know - truth always defeats lies, freedom defeats oppression, and sooner or later the victory of good dawns in the history created by people," asserted G. Nausėda.
In turn, the first lady congratulated the residents on the day of "victory of life and light".
"Dear ones, let the joy of Easter spread to everyone - big and small, let the festive mood spread in our families. Let's protect each other, let's share love, let's stay true to kindness and sensitive humanity. Because no enemy can overcome the power of love," she said.
