Due to the growing flow of visitors on the educational (cognitive) trail of the Naglii Nature Reserve, from April 26 of this year. the regulation of the flow of visitors by economic means begins - that is, everyone who wants to visit the trail, during the trail's working hours, will have to purchase a ticket.

The high flow of visitors is particularly damaging to the sensitive sand dune habitats, as the dunes are being lowered due to intensive visits. In the last ten years, the dunes have lowered as much as 10 meters. The only way to provide opportunities for guests of the Curonian Spit to get to know the values of the reserve without harming them is to regulate flows during the period of intensive visits.

In order to more evenly distribute the flows and make it possible to enjoy the landscapes of the Naglii Nature Reserve for longer hours, the visiting hours of the trail will be adjusted to the sun. We invite you to visit the educational trail of the reserve in the morning or in the evening, when the sun paints the dunes in completely different shades than at noon. This will help avoid congestion in the parking lot and make your visit more enjoyable.
