"St. Easter morning is about all of us gathered around the festive table with the hope of rebirth. With faith that the strength of spirit and soul will overcome the forces of darkness and destruction.

When we sit down at the common table, let us feel a sense of unity and let us all strengthen ourselves at the source of life: our knowledge that Love is the beginning of everything. Knowing that the truth, creativity and meaning will always win", said G. Nausėda in the congratulation published on Sunday.

The head of the country wished the people unity, peace and strength.

"We will be reborn with new strength, new joy, new inspiration to grow Lithuania. Unity, peace and strength, dear ones!

Happy Easter to our little ones. Peace and goodness to our home. Be healthy, strong and happy," says G. Nausėda.

Prime Minister Ingrida Simonyte, congratulating on Easter, urges us not to forget the war in Ukraine.

"This year, the holiday announcing the Resurrection once again has to meet painful tragedies in the world. This means that we must continue to stand in solidarity with the Ukrainians who are walking the path of suffering.

Compassion and care must banish all shadows of fear from our hearts. Let's never forget that the door of our hearts is open to sharing - it's a sign of our growth and strength", I. Šimonytė is quoted in the greeting issued by the Government.

In her greeting, the Prime Minister urged not to give up, to help each other.

"Let this be an important reminder and confirmation that one should not despair and give up, because the power of Hope, Faith and Love wins in the end." Let's help it spread in our lives, in every choice we make," the Head of Government said in her greeting.
