The premier Ingrida Simonyte congratulating all the people of Lithuania on the occasion of Holy Easter, he says that each of us needs the light of this holiday to see the beauty of the world, so that we can look at other people as a gift of life.
"Easter, which has been celebrated by all Christians for several millennia, reminds each of us again and again that even the thickest darkness ends, the greatest frost recedes, if only we keep hope and patiently move forward," the Prime Minister's greeting reads.
On the occasion of Holy Easter, I. Šimonytė wishes you the courage to be on the side of creation, light, and not denial and darkness.
"May the celebration of the Resurrection be pleasant. Let there be an abundance of light and hope," reads the greeting.
Speaker of the Seimas Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen also congratulated her on the occasion of Christian Easter.
"We celebrate the Resurrection of Christ for eternal life. It is a hopeful, joyful and meaningful holiday. Because to resurrect means to be reborn, to return to life, to live anew. Because being resurrected is the complete opposite of loss," reads the Seimas Speaker's greeting.
According to V. Čmilytė-Nielsen, this parallel is very suitable for nature, which, although not in a hurry this year, is already waking up and reviving, promising a bright and warm summer.
"It also responds to the present context, because we know that Ukraine will celebrate the victory and return to life with full force. I wish everyone a happy and peaceful Easter!" congratulates the Speaker of the Seimas.
