Vilnius in Antakalni It is proposed to rename Ežerėlių street after the former dissident, founder of the Lithuanian Freedom League, Antanas Terleckos.

Politicians of the capital will consider such a proposal of the municipality's Historical Memory Commission on Wednesday.

The Council will also decide on the installation of a commemorative plaque dedicated to the Lithuanian spy, political prisoner, savior of Jews Marcela Kubiliūta on the building located at Aušros Vartų Street 12 in the capital.

It is proposed to install a commemorative plaque to the composer Rimvydas Žigaičius. If the council approves, it would appear on the building located at 33 A. Mickevičius Street.

The capital council also offers In the old town to give the name of the public figure Juozaps Montvila to the nameless square, Perkūnos in Pashilaičiai, and Plytdegiai to the path in Šnipiškės.

Also offered for unnamed streets In Pilaite to give the names of Marta Zauniūtė, a cultural and press worker of Little Lithuania, and linguist Viliaus Pėteraitis.

The Vilnius council also plans to rename Juodvarnių Sodų 21st street in Antakalni to Varnėnai, Verkių Visorių Sodų 19th street to Punto and cancel the name of Verkių Galukloniių street.
