Songwriter and performer Tautvydas Gaudėšius-FC Baseball yesterday in Vilnius, in the historical concert hall "Kablys + Kultūra", together with his band started the concert tour "Jauna Lietuva", named after the artist's latest single. Already next week, FC Baseball will visit other big cities of Lithuania - Kaunas and Klaipėda.
"Looks like FC Baseball has never had a concert like yesterday. I remember back in the Junior A days we had one show at a place like that on Mount Taurus, the Owl, which is gone now. It was like a turning point, because that a concert, it seems that we all - both the band and the listeners - shared the same energy and felt each other very well. Even after so many years, people still come up to me and ask, do you remember that night? The feeling was very similar yesterday at "Kably" - I think we will all remember this concert for a very long time", T. Gaudėšius shared his thoughts.
Sausakimšas "Kablys" sang almost all of FC Baseball's songs in unison, and the climax of the concert was the performance of one of the band's latest songs "Fortuna" and "Jauna Lietuva" just before the end.
There was no shortage of impressive scenographic solutions in "Kabli", the whole evening simply breathed in the retro spirit. T. Gaudėšius' sensitive and open stories between songs only strengthened the sense of community, while the sharp guitar riffs and explosive energy of the group seemed to leave no one indifferent.
"One person who attended an FC Baseball concert for the first time yesterday asked me, 'How did I not know about this secret?' It's like someone let me into this community that lives and shares music, shares a common secret." It's great to feel all these people, it's great to know that FC Baseball is an artistic movement that means something, and maybe even the most important thing to someone in the world.
