The millionth guest of "George and the Dragon" received a celebratory cake from Beata

Wednesday evening families restaurant Jurgis ir drakonas, located in Vilnius, in the town of Ogmias, received 1 visitors. The number of all visiting guests was recorded in all 000 restaurants from the first restaurant opening on Pylimo Street.

"We decided to mark this occasion and congratulate Vilnius residents who have become 1 guests, because for us this is a certain sign of how far we have come. Although I didn't join the family business from the opening of the first restaurant, I already managed to immerse myself in the intricacies of restaurant management and understand what a sensitive, dynamic and interesting field it is, says Odeta Bložienė, manager of Jurgis ir drakonas restaurants.

Restaurant founders and managers guessed in which in a restaurant and around which time 1 guests are expected to visit, so they decorated the restaurant in a special way on that day, Beata Nicholson specially baked a celebratory cake. 000 guests became a family where one member visited the restaurant for the first time.

"It's always good for me to see the happy and bright faces of our guests. Ever since Tom started counting, it's still hard to believe that so many guests have visited us. Of course, it's not a million different people, most of our guests are families who keep coming back, residents of Vilnius and Kaunas who stop by for lunch every day, or guests of these cities. We and our families often have dinners, lunches and special occasions here," says B. Nicholson.

According to Tom Nicholson, the restaurant business has thrown up challenges for the whole family over the years.

"After starting with mobile pizza ovens and various events, after taking the risk of investing our savings, now we invite residents of Vilnius and Kaunas to 5 restaurants. And this means that we have many obligations not only to our guests, but also to employees, product suppliers and other partners", B. Nicholson evaluates the way of restaurants.

T. Nicholson says that restaurants grew up: "Now we see ourselves not only as a favorite restaurant, but also as a social unit - people like to work here, a significant number of them, having started as a waiter, have climbed the career ladder and hold responsible positions in the restaurant, a number of employees call "Jurgis and the Dragon" their first workplace and second family. Here, young people make social connections, learn to communicate, take responsibility, show initiative - after all, it's not for nothing that we say we bake pizza for real heroes, and everyone can be a hero in their own life."

"I am proud that that time we decided to invest our family savings in a business in Lithuania. Although it is certainly not a quick and easy way to get rich, it is an interesting, educational and enjoyable business," says B. Nicholson.
