What scent do you associate with coziness? Books? Apple pie? Autumn morning? Or maybe… coffee?
Coffee definitely occupies the strongest position in the list of "my favorite things". Even now, I smell its scent in my mother's kitchen - that's where my inseparable friendship with this aromatic and interesting, I would even say - solid drink began, which makes it easier to get out of bed in the morning.
It's true that today we drink coffee everywhere - walking in the park, waiting for friends at the bus stop, traveling to work... However, when the cold season of the year comes, the list of coffee places is mercilessly shortened - darker evenings and crisper mornings call for places where it's good to warm up while sipping a cup of perfect coffee. cappuccino or finally wake up enjoying a flawless All espresso brewing methods.
I often get asked where I find that harmonious combination of coziness and good coffee taste. I have to make you happy that there are definitely more than one such place in Vilnius. That is why I decided to share with you a list of my favorite coffee places in the capital.

strange love
It's interesting, but the first name that comes to my mind when I think of good coffee is "Strange Love". This stylish place - a coffee shop located right next to the Bernardin garden in Vilnius, revives me every time not only with a cup of perfectly prepared coffee, but also with views from the windows and a stylish environment, somewhat different from the usual coffee places. I recommend visiting in the morning, when the natural daylight gives "Strange Love" even more life.
Elska coffee
One of the youngest cafes on this list - "Elska coffee" earned my sympathy not only for its delicious coffee, but also for its relaxed environment - here it is nice not only to chat with friends, but also to work on the computer, quietly read a book or simply watch passers-by hurrying along the street through the large windows.
You won't be asking after tasting what they have to offer chia pudding - healthy and tasty.
Backstage cafe
I would call "Backstage cafe" a real style icon - fashionable, solid and.. hard to find. Don't get me wrong - you will be really pleased to be served in this cafe, but in order to successfully reach this coffee place - you will have to use a car or be patient - "Backstage cafe" is located surrounded by lofts and various workshops on T. Ševchenko street. It's not in the center, but it's worth seeing with your own eyes.
16 and coffee
Continuing the theme of cafes far from the center, I must also mention the cafe located a few steps from Backstage - "16 i kava". A very small, but extremely cute space, which will pay off with quality coffee and pleasant staff. I will reveal a little secret - in the mornings, this cozy cafe smells not only of coffee, but also of cinnamon. More precisely, with fresh cinnamon buns. It seems that businessmen working around do not miss the opportunity to stop by "16 i kava" for these delicacies. The barista assured - redeems instantly!
Huracan coffee
I have already called "Huracan coffee" located on Vokiečių Street my workplace - I travel here not only to meetings, but I also like to sit down with a computer on my lap. A slightly more romantic version of "Huracan coffee" can be found in the "GO9" bookstore on the third floor of the shopping center - there you will be greeted not only by the pleasant smell of coffee and books, but also by the beautiful views of Vilnius rooftops from the windows.

The prayer of coffee lovers could begin with two words - "Taste Map". This is not only a great place for perfectly prepared coffee, but also freshly roasted coffee that has "taken over" a large part of Vilnius cafes and restaurants. In addition to all that, the founders of "Taste Map" - Domas Ivonis and Ieva Ivonė promote the growth of coffee culture in Lithuania - the couple in 2016. organized the first "Aeropess" championship in our country. It's wonderful when the work you do coincides with your hobby.
Coffee chefs
"Coffee chefs" always make me happy with the great taste of coffee. It's true, lately, this place has been diversifying the daily life of coffee lovers with different events and collaborations - with ice cream baked by "Ice Dunes" or Belgian waffles prepared by "Waffle LAB". All this, as it should be, takes place on Sundays, when you simply have to treat yourself to dessert while drinking coffee.
As for the ritual of drinking coffee in a cafe, I usually choose strong All espresso brewing methods with milk or double All espresso brewing methods decorated with smooth milk cream - flatwhite.
