Vilnius University (VU) Three "Kindness Cows" settled in the Botanical Garden in Kairenai, and from now on they enjoy a real meadow and attract visitors with their bright colors. The "Gerum karvutes" created ten years ago by the artists Sigutė Ach, Arūnė Tornau and Žygimantas Augustin was donated to the botanical garden by the shopping center "Europa", which is implementing renewal.

"We are happy to welcome new "residents" - colorful, eye-catching and with a noble mission, "Kerumo Karvutės" created by artists adorn the botanical garden. "Kindness cows" are recognized by visitors, they smile, they are very attractive to children, people stop by them and take photos", says Aida V. Dobkevičiūtė, Head of the Communication and Services Department of VU Botanic Garden.

According to AV Dobkevičiūtė, the VU Botanic Garden has become an inseparable part of science, as well as educational and social life for the capital's communities over more than 240 years. Today, the Botanical Garden is located and awaits visitors in two locations in Vilnius: Kairenai and In Vingo Park. Gerumo karvutės have also found their place in the botanical garden in Kairenai - they can be seen from afar in the new area of dendrological collections near the famous Mount of Olives, where even 180 of the most decorative varieties of olive bushes will soon bloom with flowers of the most diverse colors and shades, shapes and aromas.

Gerumo karvutės spent more than a decade in the shopping center and were loved by Vilnius residents and city guests. We have started the largest and most significant renovation of the shopping center since its opening, which we aim to meet the needs and consumption habits of the target visitors - both the concept and the spaces are changing. We decided that we have to create opportunities to continue admiring the "Kerness Cows", so we found a new home for them", says Indrė Butkutė, marketing and communication manager of Europa.

According to I. Butkutė, "Kindness Karvutes" was printed in the shopping center in 2010. more than twenty artists driven by a noble cause. The purpose of this social action was to help sick children - the funds collected for the cows were allocated to a charity fund. Three "Gerumo karvutės" then remained in the shopping center for the meaning and memory of the campaign, and from now on they decorate the spaces of the Botanic Garden in Kairenai.
