Today, October 27, the park of artistic lights and installations "Lumina" opens its gates to visitors. The park is located in the very center of the city - Vilnius Mountain Park. The theme of Lumina Park was inspired by Vilnius celebrating its 700th anniversary. Visitors are invited to take a trip back in time, more than six centuries back to the glorious past, when Lithuania was ruled by Gediminas and his servants, Vilnius became the capital, and there were fierce battles for the throne. 

On the one and a half kilometer path, visitors will see Prince Gediminas and the priest Lizdeikas who explained his fateful dream, will have the opportunity to feel the spirit of the medieval city, the strength of knights and soldiers, the greatness of Vytautas and many other light installations that will not only introduce the history of the capital's creation, but also give indelible impressions . So, welcome to Vilnius, where guns clang, elaborate armor shines and amazing legends are told.

Residents and guests of the city of Vilnius visiting the park will see the impressive sculpture "Wolf" created by the artist and architect Mantas Maziliauskas. 

Visitors will be able to stop and buy snacks, hot and soft drinks while traveling along the park's route.

Important information for visitors:

Park opening times throughout the season will depend on sunset. October 27-28 Lumina Park will be open from 18.30 to 22.00. The last visitors are allowed in - 21.00:29 p.m. From October 17 the park will be open from XNUMX p.m.

It is also important to note that cash payments will not be possible in the park. Both entrance tickets and food and drinks can only be paid by bank card.

There is no parking in Lumina Park. Visitors are encouraged to arrive on foot or by public transport, as the number of public parking spaces is very limited and far from Lumina Park.
