The music festival "Vilnius Ore", which invites residents and guests of the city to spend more time in nature, returns to VU Botanical Garden after a year's break. In Vingo Park, which will take place on July 16-19 and presents this year's participants - the artist Angelou and the groups "Kamaniu Šilelis", "Golden Parazyth" and "Los Secretos de Pablo".

The first "Vilnius Ore" festivals took place in 2021 and 2022, while last summer event was not prepared due to the reconstruction works of the VU Botanic Garden. In just a few years, the festival has become one of the biggest summer events in the capital, attracting over 6 people to the natural oasis in the heart of Vilnius. viewers.

During the past festivals, such music stars as Jessica Shy, Vaidas Baumila, Linas Adomaitis, "Beissoul & Einius", GJan, Evgenya Redko, "G&G Sindikatas", Mesijus, the group "Go A" that represented Ukraine at Eurovision and a bunch of other performers have performed here.

"Vilnius Ore" viewers have the opportunity not only to see their favorite performers surrounded by nature, but also to get to know various types of flowers and plants. During the festival, unique art installations are also held here, and this year a beautiful tradition will be continued - each performer of "Vilnius Ore" plants a rose in the VU Botanic Garden, thus creating a unique flower garden for the festival.

"We are very happy that this summer we will be able to open the gates of the garden to visitors again, and the spectators of the festival "Vilnius Ore" will be among the first to see the renewed Botanic Garden. Thanks to the festival, an even larger number of city residents can admire our wonderful garden and learn more about nature," says Regina Juodkaitytė, head of the VU Botanic Garden Vingios department.

This summer, the festival will last four days, July 16-19, and will offer a variety of musical styles. On July 16, the festival will be "opened" by one of the country's most prominent rhythm and blues and soul artists and five-time MAMA Award nominee Angelou, whose album "Fazė" became the most listened-to album by a Lithuanian artist in Lithuania in 2021.

On the second day of the festival, Kamanių Šilelis, recognized as the best alternative music group in Lithuania last year, will perform on stage. The indie-folk music-making group mixes the sounds of traditional folk instruments, electronic music, nature and even everyday household items in its work, so it will fit perfectly with the atmosphere of the Botanic Garden.

On July 18, at the "Vilnius Ore" festival, the "Golden Parazyth" group, distinguished by its "indie and alternative pop" style and emotional creativity, will reign in the music sky of our country. like Hurts or Lana del Rey.

On July 19, the city festival will be "closed" by Los Secretos de Pablo, who are rapidly gaining popularity in the Lithuanian music scene. The group of thirteen musicians stands out for their infectious good mood and Latin American rhythms, and their performances make the audience feel like they are at a real South American party.
