"Since I was a child, I have watched how the jewelry exhibition grows and expands in our small country like Lithuania. Twenty years ago, the journey of the jewelry and amber exhibition began in Vilnius Town Hall, later it was organized in one of the capital's hotels, and since 2017 it has grown to "Litexpo"exhibition hall", says Venecija Guntoriūtė, the organizer of the largest international specialized jewelry and amber exhibition "Amber Trip" in the Baltic States, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

Since the age of eight, Venetia has been behind the scenes of this kind of events, because her father Giedrius Guntorius was the organizer of the jewelry exhibition "Amber Trip". Last year, Giedrius died tragically in Sakartvel, according to his daughter Venezia, dad and the exhibition used to unite the whole family. "For dad, this exhibition was not only a business, but also a true passion in life. This is a kind of community in which we got involved with our brother Isidoris and sister Odilia. During the preparation, my brother and sister put aside the basic work and get involved in the organization. We are glad that we can get to know the most famous and distinguished private collectors, museum and shop owners, their families, who come from America, Japan, Africa, Kuvelt and various European countries. At the exhibition, they buy jewelry created by Lithuanians. We also introduce jewelers who make Lithuania famous all over the world with their unique works", V. Guntoriūtė speaks frankly.

This year, the international exhibition held for the 20th time will bring together the most important representatives of jewelry and amber. Collectors, museum and shop owners come from America, Japan, Italy, Holland, Spain, Turkey and many other European countries, to whom the jewelers will present their latest products, the trends of the global amber market. "This is the greatest gift to Lithuania, because amber is one of the most representative symbols of our country. Amber travels, its image changes, but it is used to make objects that were very popular and continue to be produced to this day," says V. Guntoriūtė, the organizer of the exhibition.

In recent years, with changing times and trends, amber has kept pace with changing fashion, with stylish women and men rediscovering amber, both for wearing everyday jewelry and creating looks for various occasions. "I am happy that even my generation, generation Z, hipster subculture, information and smart technology generations are discovering amber jewelry. And at the exhibition it will be possible to see products of various shapes and colors, because jewelers are really creative and surprise us every year", says the organizer of the exhibition.

The 14th international Baltic jewelry and amber exhibition "Amber Trip" will be held in the largest exhibition and conference center in the Baltic countries "Litexpo", on March 16-XNUMX.
