A new room - a multisensory room - was opened at the State Knowledge Center located in the Presidency on the initiative of the President.

A multi-sensory room is a specially designed space for calming down, concentrating, relaxing and learning. The room promotes stimulation of all five senses, improves memory, cognition, language, reduces anxiety, helps a child or an adult to develop awareness of their senses and feelings.

Visitors to the State Knowledge Center, who are more bothered by noise, crowds of people, who find it more difficult to adapt to a new environment or who get tired more easily while walking, now have a space where they can relax.

The sensory room can also be used as a rehabilitation or therapy tool to help gradually get used to new stimuli.

"The opening of a new space in the State Knowledge Center is another step in the journey of access to educational and cultural services for people with disabilities. The possibility of expanding educational spaces and adapting them to every visitor of the State Knowledge Center will help create a more inclusive, accessible and friendly museum environment," said the President.

The multisensory room facilities are suitable for people of all ages, regardless of their abilities and physical health.

The space is open to all visitors during the working hours of the State Knowledge Center.
