In the middle of the first month of spring, on March 16-17, the largest horse exhibition in the Baltic States "Horse Grand Show" will be held in Vilnius for the first time, where visitors will be treated to a dozen different types of horse breeds and theatrical performances.
Vilnius Congress and Exhibition Center LITEXPO taking place event is the only one of its kind in all the Baltic countries, where such a wide variety of heavy, jumping, riding and sport horses are displayed under one roof, and the value of some of these animals reaches hundreds of thousands or even several million euros.
During the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to see at least 12 horse breeds, including some of the oldest (Alchateks), strongest (Persherons), most graceful (Black Friesians), most hardy (Dons) or bravest (Lusitans) horse breeds in the world.
The event will not be complete without the legendary shire - one of the tallest horse breeds in Europe, bred in England - whose height reaches up to two meters. At that time, the opposite of the shire, the pony, will undoubtedly delight all the little guests of the exhibition.
Among a dozen different horse breeds, visitors will also admire the four-legged Andalusian breed of royal elegance and will be able to be proud of several horse breeds bred in Lithuania, such as the oldest European horse breed, the Zemaits.
According to the organizers of the exhibition, horses are not only very beautiful and four-legged animals that have been perfectly used by people in history, but also very inspiring, calming and internally balancing animals, characterized by strong intelligence.
In addition to admiring the horses, visitors to the exhibition will also watch various theatrical performances of horses, introducing the audience to different types of horse art and acrobatics, which will not leave indifferent both children and adults.
The performances will include the acrobatic equestrian sport of jigging, tango with a horse, a knight and cowboy show, a horse duet performance, a Mongolian number with a bow and even a Spanish senorita dance with a horse.
Visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to take part in special games, take pictures with horses or, for an additional fee, ride a pony or a horse, while the youngest participants of the exhibition will be treated to a children's master class, introducing the basics of caring for these animals.
