Alicia Edelweiss, who lives in Vienna, started her musical career by hitchhiking around Europe with only a guitar in her hands for several years. While staying in Portugal, she fell in love with the accordion, and this musical instrument is still her constant companion and distinguishing mark.

Alicia collaborates with various musicians and performers, she is very fond of a unique type of performing arts - circus, the elements of which she adds to her performances. Alicia Edelweiss' music is credited as freak folk ir art pop. In her songs, she poetically tells personal stories full of depth, irony, openness, fun quirkiness and light humor.

In 2019, Alicia Edelweiss's first studio album "When I'm enlightened, everything will be better" was released, which was followed by many performances at music festivals in various countries. In Lithuania, the singer has sung at the "Loftas Fest" festival and appeared on the "What's Next in Music?" stage. in 2022 she was awarded the Austrian musician Hubert von Goisern's cultural prize for exceptional dedication, talent and achievements in music.

Alicia Edelweiss to a concert comes not alone, she is accompanied by a string duo. So a singer who plays accordion, guitar and ukulele will also be supported by violin and cello.

Free concert dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Austrian Literature Reading Room of the Vilnius County Adams Mickevičius Public Library, it is supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Austria.
