The festive film repertoire includes cinema classics, the latest premieres and screenings that have already become a cinema tradition.  

"As in real life, as well as in cinema life, holidays are closely connected with traditions. It is good for us to plan them and hope that the traditions of the "Pasaka" cinema will become pleasant memories for our viewers. We invite you to start the New Year with Audrey Hepburn and "Breakfast at Tiffany's" for the third year already, and for the second year we will welcome the Christmas holidays with Ingmar Bergman's family epic "Fani and Alexander". Among the new and expected film works during the holidays, we want to remind you of the classics," says Andrė Balžekienė, manager of the "Pasaka" cinema.

Selected films of the program will remind viewers of what is most important during the holiday season. "The films of our festive program are united by coziness, sweet and recognizable nostalgia, small but essential miracles of our everyday life. It's deep conversations with friends, warm hugs from family members, room-filling loud screams, and all-encompassing love. I believe that everyone will find their favorite taste of "cinema candy" in the repertoire, says Laura Bartusevičiūtė, composer of the repertoire of the "Pasaka" cinema.

Fani and Alexander, December 25.

It is common to say that "Fani and Alexander" is I. Bergman's most beloved work, which was awarded four Oscars: for best foreign film, cinematography, costumes and scenery.

It is also one of the most beautiful Christmas movies. The tape will take you to 1906. Sweden. The Ekdal family will celebrate Christmas at Grandma Helena's. The audience will watch the celebration and other events of a huge family through the eyes of two children - a brother and a sister. Pasaka cinema will show this family epic during Christmas itself.

This film by the cult American indie director Jim Jarmusch consists of 11 funny, absurd stories, in which famous actors and musicians often play themselves, smoking cigarettes, drinking coffee and talking about all sorts of things.

In this black and white film, the audience will see Bill Murray, Cate Blanchett, Iggy Pop, Steven Wright and many other celebrities from the world of entertainment.

When Harry Met Sally, December 26 and 31.

For viewers looking for love stories in the middle of the holiday, Pasaka cinema has prepared Rob Reiner's classic 1989. comedy When Harry Met Sally. This film asks: Can men and women be just friends?

Considered one of the best romantic comedies of all time, the film still delights with witty dialogues, memorable characters, excellent acting and, of course, the therapeutic effect typical of such comedies.

"The Graduate", December 29.
