Compared to Latvian and Estonian residents, Lithuanian residents use artificial intelligence (AI) technologies less frequently in their daily lives. A survey of the opinion of the residents of the Baltic States, commissioned by the professional services company EY, showed that 19% of Lithuanians use AI solutions such as "ChatGPT", "Bard", "Claude" or others. population.

According to the research data, 18-29-year-olds are the most active users of AI in Lithuania - 40% of them are. However, among seniors, this rate drops sharply, with 30% of AI users in the 39-22 age group, 40% in the 49-22 age group, and just 60% in the over-8 age group.

For example, in Latvia, 58 percent use AI technologies. 18-29-year-old population, while in other age groups this indicator ranges from 38 to 11 percent. In Estonia, AI technologies have already become a common tool for 56 percent. 18-29-year-old people, and in other age groups such people are from 34 to 8 percent.

Activity using innovations is closely related to the economic situation of people in all three Baltic countries. AI technologies are used by every third (34%) resident of Lithuania receiving 1501 or more euros per month (49% in Latvia, 32% in Estonia). In lower-income households, this rate drops by half or even more. It is true that the gap between those with lower and higher incomes who use AI is the smallest in Estonia, and the largest in Latvia.
