After three months of intensive training and mentoring sessions, the third generation of startups graduated from the TechHub pre-accelerator. During the "TechHub Demo Day #3" event, 8 of the most promising and most advanced teams during the program presented themselves to investors and innovation experts, and 5 of them were awarded valuable prizes - trips to selected accelerators in EU countries and short-term assignments abroad.

Startup presentations were evaluated by an experienced commission of innovation experts and investors - Jonė Vaitulevičiūtė, a partner of the "Startup Wise Guys Lietuva" fund, Vilnius University fund director Justinas Noreika, Iron Wolf Capital partner Tomas Martūnas, as well as mentors and lecturers of the TechHub project who helped the teams throughout the program. The committee selected the winners taking into account the startups' progress, team, viability, presentation at the event and other criteria.

Digital perfumer

The startup Nyuance is developing a digital solution that will allow people to create exclusive, personalized perfumes. Using artificial intelligence, machine learning and knowledge of perfumery and psychology, the team aims to combine the five human senses to create a unique fragrance at home and make this service accessible to everyone.

"The idea of the startup came from the experience of working in this field and dealing with customer problems every day - probably 90 percent. people complain that it is difficult for them to choose the right perfume. Also, while monitoring market trends, personalization becomes particularly important at the start-up. We are already using innovative products in perfumery, with the help of which we create perfumes, but seeing their lack and evaluating all other problems, the idea of creating a digital perfumer was born," says Ramunė Gvozdaitė, the founder of the startup.

A platform for recruiting seniors

The startup "Gen4Gen" is developing a C2C and B2B digital platform, helping it is easier for older people to be active, feel needed, and return to the labor market. On the platform, people can sell their services to customers who are unable to fulfill their daily obligations and tasks. The service can be anything - housekeeping, child or animal care, remote consultations on legal, financial or other issues. The service provider can freely choose how much and at what time he wants to work and how much he earns.

"My dad retired a few years ago. In one day, his life completely changed - there was no longer a normal routine, no social life, he didn't feel needed. Therefore, I, concerned about his psychological and physical health, tried to occupy him with small jobs - I asked him to take my daughter to school, fix something, hang pictures. Now he is a very busy man. This prompted me to delve into the opportunities for self-realization for seniors. After all, our society is aging - it is planned that by 2050 there will be more than 2,1 million in the world," says Irma Lukoševičienė, co-founder of the startup.

Interactive learning platform

BBright is developing an interactive personalized math learning platform "Elysium", where students will find video lessons, theoretical material and exercises for educational subjects. This solution will allow the student to understand the most complex topics at his own pace. The courses will progress through different levels, collect points and share achievements with peers. Thanks to the platform, learning will turn into a fun cognitive experience.

"Mathematics is perhaps the most difficult for schoolchildren - it is made up of many layers, and if something is not understood, gaps open up, which accumulate over time. We wanted to create a platform that identifies those gaps and helps progress. We specifically adapt the content of "Elyceus" according to state educational programs - we look at the mathematics curriculum of each market and adapt personalized content according to it", says Mantas Vičius, co-founder of the startup.

Virtual power plant

The startup "Balancy" is creating a virtual power plant that brings together commercial electricity consumers and producers with heating or cooling systems, generators, and batteries. Thanks to the solution, they will be able to temporarily reduce or increase electricity consumption or generation.

"The increasing amount of renewable electricity sources poses challenges to the stability of the power system, which require expensive infrastructure like commercial-grade batteries to solve. We help stabilize the power system by enabling companies' flexible processes and using them to balance the power system. This brings additional income to commercial users, makes the transmission system more reliable and sustainable, and ensures the entry of green electricity into the system," says Karolis Subačius, founder of Balancy.

Innovative timing system for athletes

Motion trials is developing a short distance timing system. With the help of this tool, it is possible to easily track the running results of athletes and adjust training plans. The tool will be available to everyone, not only professional athletes, because, according to the startup's co-founder Vytautas Želvis, running is prevalent in all sports that require developing speed - football, basketball, etc.

"This is just the beginning of a startup. Our vision is to create a mobile platform and devices, with the help of which athletes can easily test their physical condition and at the same time receive advice and insights that everyone can understand, which will help them to exercise correctly", says Vytautas Želvys.

During the event, the participants of the previous pre-accelerator cycles - "Benme" and "Oxus.AI" - who have already received investments after completing the program, also shared their success stories. Startup Benme is developing an employee benefits and supplier management platform for companies and HR professionals looking for additional employee benefits. The startup Oxus.AI is a tool based on artificial intelligence algorithms that listens to 100% of people. of conversations that take place between a customer and a manager in call centers and evaluating their quality.
