Boozt announces that it plans to expand its IT branch in Vilnius this year and will be looking for mid- and senior-level PHP programmers, site reliability engineers and application developers. Currently, Boozt Technology Baltics employs more than 50 people.

According to Marc Rosello, head of Boozt's technology development, opening a branch in Lithuania was motivated by the cultural similarities between Lithuania and Sweden, as well as the short, one-hour flight connecting the countries. in 2022 At the suggestion of "Boozt" employees, the office was moved to "Darbotek" in Paupia, where even 100 individual workplaces were installed and this helped the team to become even closer.

According to Mr. Rosello, excellent sales results are not the only strength of the company's branch in Vilnius.

"The team in Lithuania cooperates with colleagues in Sweden, Denmark and in Poland, implementing a variety of complex functions for Boozt, including ensuring the smooth operation of the company's two mobile apps and online store, as well as developing solutions to facilitate the processing of the vast amount of product data collected by Boozt.

The Boozt team in Lithuania is also responsible for 1000 AutoStore robots that manage and collect goods in an automated warehouse in Sweden. "More than 50 software developers of the Vilnius office belong to the Boozt Platform department, which consists of more than 190 software developers in total," he said.

The company also actively participates in the meetings of the Vilnius PHP community. Boozt Technology Baltics organizes various knowledge-sharing events, the annual Boozt Platform conference, internal hackathons and Scandinavian-inspired Fika talks to discuss the latest technologies.

According to "Invest in Lithuania" of CEO Elijaus Čivilis, "Boozt Technology Baltics" is an excellent example of what Lithuanian talents are capable of and another proof that the long-term strategy of increasing the attractiveness of the country to international market participants is bearing fruit.

"Taking into account the rapid growth of the company over the past two years, I have no doubt that the expansion of the Lithuanian team will allow Boozt to continue to achieve its goals - both in the coming year and in the further future," said E. Čivilis.

Boozt started cooperating with Lithuanian software developers almost a decade ago. in 2021 this cooperation was crowned by the opening of the Lithuanian branch "Boozt Technology Baltics" in Vilnius. The company, which has grown rapidly over the past two years and almost doubled the number of its employees in Lithuania, aims to continue expanding its activities and team.

The company "Boozt Fashion AB" in 2011 was founded in Sweden, Malmö, with the aim of offering customers an attractive online store experience. Boozt has launched a platform that sells fashion, kids, sports, beauty and home brands. In the 10 years since its establishment, the number of Boozt employees has grown from 34 to more than 1000, and the company currently has offices in Sweden, Denmark, Poland and Lithuania.
