A new office building will be built in Šnipiškės, at the intersection of Geležinis Vilkas and Lvivs streets. Builder UAB "Inrega" invites residents to familiarize themselves with the solutions for removing trees and how they will be compensated.

While preparing the solutions for the construction project, an arborist assessment of the trees was carried out, and the Lithuanian arborist center of VŠĮ prepared a consultative conclusion. There are 45 trees growing in the area: 27 of them are invasive, 4 are growing next to main power lines. Many trees have sprung up spontaneously in the area of the former production area. The condition of the trees is satisfactory, but the green area is not open to the public.
Due to the planned construction, it is planned to remove 43 trees, of which 17 are to be protected. Instead, 143 saplings will be replanted as compensation in the common green spaces adjacent to the planned plot.
