The official Vilnius city development agency "Go Vilnius" also provides information on the salaries it pays to its employees on its website. However, it was not the amount of salaries that raised an eyebrow, but the fact that the agency is staffed almost exclusively by managers.

The agency has 56 employees - almost all managers

At the moment, 56 employees are employed at VšĮ "Go Vilnius", according to the website of Rekvizitai.lt. Let's take a look at how the employees are arranged by position.

The institution is headed by a director, the company has 6 information specialists, 9 - heads of departments/units, 6 - managers. project managers and as many as 34 project managers.

However, after looking at https://www.govilnius.lt/kontaktai, we can see that there are more than five categories of positions.

"Go Vilnius" also provided the amounts of salaries paid to employees

According to Rekvizitait.lt data of February 2024, the median salary of a public institution was almost EUR 3 before taxes. The average salary of employees before taxes is EUR 370 (women - EUR 3; men - EUR 518,13).

Let's take a look at the monthly salaries before taxes paid to Go Vilnius employees from the beginning of 2024:

  • Director – EUR 9 (increased by almost EUR 804, about +1000% compared to 10,16);
  • Heads of department/department 9 - EUR 4 each (reduced by EUR 960, -114% compared to 2,5);
  • 6 men project managers - EUR 3 each (reduced by EUR 432, -130% compared to 3,65);
  • 34 project managers - EUR 2 each (reduced by EUR 697, -275% compared to 9,25);
  • 6 information specialists - EUR 1 each (reduced by EUR 549, -225% compared to 12,68).
