The "Kreta" company of the Lithuanian capital group "Modus Group", which managed the "ibis Styles Vilnius" hotel located on the Minsk road in Vilnius, is closing it and laying off all the employees - the "Addere" nursing home will be located there.
The company is laying off 19 out of 20 employees. "Kreta" reported this to the Employment Service. According to her, eight maids, three receptionists, two cleaners and other employees will lose their jobs.
"The reason for the dismissals is that the work function performed by the employees becomes redundant for the employer due to changes in work organization or other reasons related to the employer's activities," the service reported to BNS.
As employees of the company told BNS, the hotel will operate until June.
The company "Addere", which manages a nursing and supportive care hospital, purchased the hotel in Trakai Addere Care (formerly Trasalis) will reconstruct it into a nursing and long-term care home.
