Electronic music enthusiasts "Draugai Draugams", who are known for their events in unexpected spaces, are diving into a new area of the night economy. Over the weekend, the team invited like-minded people to the opening of the dance bar "cornercafe" that appeared in the well-known quarter of the old town of Vilnius.
"The whole legend of "Draugai Draugams" began when four friends met to work behind the same bar in Vilnius. As time went by, we dreamed more and more often about our own corner, where we could meet our loved ones more often and chat more comfortably. We matured the idea of a bar for a couple of years. This autumn, we decided that the time had come and started implementing the plan", said one of the owners of the new place, Barts Michailović.
According to him, the concept of the club cafe, which is located in the house number six on Iceland Street, was inspired by several similar establishments recently visited in Amsterdam.
The "cornercafe" menu, which will be opened not only on weekend nights, will be dominated by natural wines, rich cocktails and, of course, electronic music. Opening on Friday will be stage-rising meteorite Dangerous Dreaming, a resident of influential Berlin collective Club Heart Broken. Together with him - cadets of the local scene Deimina, Jogaila and Senkala. On Saturday, the players will be replaced by another crew of promising players. It will consist of Issa, Professor, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Très Sticky.
After opening the doors of the bar, "Draugai Draugams" does not intend to abandon the organization of the most massive dance music events in the capital. At the end of January, the team will invite you to celebrate your fourth birthday together. As befits such an occasion, the participants of the feast will be in for a particularly strong weekend.
