The company Hautica, which manages the phone case brand "Burga", is designing a new factory - for 7,2 thousand square meters. sq. meters building in the Kaunas Free Economic Zone (LEZ) will invest about 10 million. euros, plans to move into the premises at the end of 2025, reports the portal "Verslo žinios".
"Since we are growing by about 60% every year, we can no longer fit in the rented premises. (…) Since 2022, our turnover has increased by 60 percent, we ended last year with approximately 53 million. euros. The results are now being audited", Gytis Gelžinis, one of the founders of the company, told "Verslo žiniams".
The company currently has 204 employees. It is planned that about 344 people will work in four shifts at the new factory.
According to the data of the Register Center, in 2021, Hautica's revenue grew by 28 percent. up to 23,5 million euros (18,4 million euros in 2020), profit - 2,5 times to 0,72 million. EUR (0,29 million EUR).
